How Do I Signup?

To signup, simply go to our signup form, choose what subscription you would like. Signing up for a writer subscription means you can upload stories, opinion articles about an abundance of topics that you are passionate about so that your work can get exposed nationally and internationally. Costs vary depending on the subscription you choose. To signup as a reader simply choose our Reader subscription which is 100% FREE

How Do I Become a Writer?

Simply click on the join now button, select writer and fill in your details. The first 30 days will be FREE and it will be either €15 for six months, €25 for 12 months, or €1 per article from therein.

How Do I Become a Reader?

Simply click on the join now button, select reader and fill in your details. The reader memberships are FREE of charge.

How Do I read an Article?

Log in using your reader username and password. Select the article you wish to read, and click on the read full story icon.

There are main headings including Current Affairs, Sport, Your Life, Arts & Entertainment, Youthscene, and community. Within these main heading, there several sub-categories. Simply select the area of interest and begin reading!

How do I upload an article?

Log in using your writer username and password. Select the “articles” icon on the top left hand side. Click on the “add articles” icon highlighted in Blue on the right hand side. Enter your article title, summary, category and image if applicable.

You can either write in the box provided or you can copy and paste from your own file. Simply press save and await approval from www.readerwriters.ie

How does my article get noticed?

The five top rated articles each week will be forwarded to the written media. They will make contact with www.readerswriters.ie to collect the contact details of the writer if they select an article. www.readerswriters.ie will furnish the written media with the contact details, provided the writer is agreeable. Any agreement made between the written media and their chosen writer is between the written media and the chosen writer. www.readerswriters.ie assumes no responsibility for any breach of agreement reached between the two parties.

The written media may “dip” in and out of www.readerswriters.ie to select a random article also, and the above situation will also apply.

www.readerswriters.ie also retains the right to forward the written media an article which www.readerswriters.ie deems of sufficient quality.

Does Readers Writers charge a fee if my article gets published?

No, Reader Writers does not charge a fee if an article is published in the written media. www.readerswriters.ie is subscription based, and does not charge a fee once the subscription of the writer’s choice is paid.

Will Readers Writers negotiate on my behalf with the written media?

No. Once the writer has given permission for www.readerswriters.ie to furnish a written media source with the writer’s details, all further dialogue is between the chosen writer and written media outlet.

How do readers rate an article?

The reader selects the contribution of their choice and has two rating options. There is “Rate this article” icon at the top right hand corner of the article or one at the bottom of the article. The readers simply clicks on either icon, hovers the mouse over the “your rating” icon and selects their chosen star rating.

How do I get a “published” icon on my article?

Once your article has been published in the written media, www.readerswriters.ie will apply the “published” icon to said article.

How do I buy an article?

Select the article you wish to purchase, and select the “buy now” icon and fill in your details. www.readerswriters.ie will contact the writer  to inform them of your request and will furnish you with the writers details once the writer has permitted www.readerswriters.ie to do so.

How do I cancel my account?

To cancel your account, simply contact us at james@readerswriters.ie outlining your desire to cancel your account, and we cancel your account at once.
